Every day, all sorts of clouds drift across the sky. What are those clouds, anyway? Who knows! Could that oval-shaped cloud floating all on its own be a cushion for a *tengu* (a mythical mountain spirit) to rest on? And those towering, billowing clouds—could they be the home of a family of dragons? This picture book invites children to let their imaginations soar, inspired by the shapes of the clouds above.
Though we can never reach out and touch them to see what they’re truly made of, clouds are always there whenever we look up. If children can grow closer to the clouds, their daily lives are sure to become even more delightful. To help children spot the very same clouds in the real sky that they see in these pages, the book features recognizable, classic cloud formations—such as towering cumulus clouds or lens-shaped lenticular clouds—rather than just random, fleeting shapes that happened to appear for a single moment.
